The Zhou Yi Jian Writing Competition

This competition is in honour of Xiaosui's father, Zhou Yi Jian.

You will have met Zhou Yi Jian as you journey through Kaixin. He was a remarkable man who, through many travails, remained an optimist and embraced life. Most of all, as a devoted father, he passed on this sense of optimism to his family.

He was a learned man, steeped in Chinese culture and history. He also passed this learning and wisdom on to his children, especially Xiaosui.

He loved China, his country, and would be proud of where China stands in the world today.

Most of all, he embraced people and welcomed them into his life.

If, through Kaixin, he touches more people in this world, then the world will be a better place.
